15 August 2010 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
Many countries have their own strategic plans for their problems which they deem significant. While sometimes states represent explicitly these strategies, in some cases they choose not expressing and even hiding. In this context, the strategies of Armenia with regard to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the normalization process with Turkey is widely concerned. Would Armenia like to Solve the Nagorno Karabakh Conflict? What is the Armenian 100 Year Strategy?

Armenia 'may agree to some kind of peace' in 2011
20 July 2010 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
I would like to think so, but it is not too easy. Israel in the Middle East and Armenia in the South Caucasus are far from peace. Both regions have serious problems in this respect. The settlement of these problems anytime soon is considered impossible. However, it is easier to settle problems in the Caucasus than in the Middle East. Peace in the Caucasus can be achieved if both parties want it. Turkey’s unilateral efforts are insufficient. It requires Israel in the Middle East and Armenia in the Caucasus to take steps to achieve peace. Armenia 'may agree to some kind of peace' in 2011

20 April 2010 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
The government of Justice and Progress Party has not worked proper calculations out on two things to bring “Armenian Rapprochement” in. The former, the size of coming reactions from the public opinion and government of Azerbaijan on the subject of openning the borders with Armenia and secondly, the sensitivity of Azerbaijan case on Turkish public opinion. Is Karabakh Provision diluted for opening the borders with Armenia?

13 November 2009 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
After the protocol signed on October 10, the general beliefs that are the relations between Turkey and Armenia will normalize and improve the further relations. However; we thought the converse of this and unfortunately our foresight and analysis began to be correct. Although only 2 months passed since the signing of the Protocol and the President of Armenia, Serj Sarkisyan's visit to Turkey, the spring weather which spread quickly dissolved with the same speed. The two countries conservations tone has become increasingly harder as the approval of the protocols were delaying. Sinan OĞAN Chairman of TURKSAM has answered Armanian Newspaper Zhamanak

The Opening of the Border of Turkey-Armenia Could Bring the Clash of Azerbaijan-Armenia to the Agenda!
10 April 2009 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
Actually the normalization process of the releations of Turkey and Armenia started two years ago and Azerbaijan was aware of everything which is going on between Armenia and Turkey. The relations between Armenia and Turkey was confidential but after President Gül went to the Erivan for the football match, it has become obvious that Turkey and Armenia still trying to normalize their relations. The visit of Abdullah Gül was indisposed by some of the media in Armenia but this crisis was also passed over easily. The Opening of the Border of Turkey-Armenia Could Bring the Clash of Azerbaijan-Armenia to the Agenda!

Barack Hussein Obama still not change his ideas about the Armenian question!
06 April 2009 - Sinan OĞAN [Institute for Armenian Studies]
Alot of things had written down about the visit of Obama to Turkey. This is why I don’t want to go on to details in this article. The main concern of this article is the ideas of Barack Obama, which he evaluated in the press conference with President Abdullah Gül in the presidential palace, about the 1915 events. The real purpose behind the speech of Grand National Assembly was to say to Turkey and Armenia that they are alone in this path. Barack Hussein Obama still not change his ideas about the Armenian question!

During the last days of 2008, a group of Turkish intellectuals wrote a declaration of apology for Armenians, regarding to the 1915 events.
