“In the 21st century, no two countries will have a relationship as important as the one between China and the US.” These words were spoken by Henry Kissinger, the famous American diplomat and a key figure in US-China relations, at a meeting on the 30th anniversary of the restarting of relations between the two countries. Recent developments making the news lately remind us just how prescient the above words by Kissinger were.

One between the United States and Turkey, one that of France and Turkey, another between NATO and Turkey, and yet a ‘half’ between the Government in Turkey (or rather Prime Minister Erdogan) and the opposition in Libya fighting to depose Qaddafi.
