The term of “one nation two states” that was used by the late Haydar Aliyev years ago while he was describing the brotherhood and friendship of their relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Nowadays, after the protocol that signed between Turkey and Armenia, this statement was brought to the agenda due to the issues between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Especially, bilateral relations between two countries covered up a completely different environment because of some officials irresponsibly disrespect against the flag of Azerbaijan at the following the national match between Turkey and Armenia.

 

Today, we line in the worst days that have arrived at the point on the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Current crisis is in the worst position to compare with the month of May. However, these are the most crucial is the flag crisis.

 

Turkey could sign the protocol with Armenia but there has given a promise by the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and there is no clear manner about keeping these promises. In this respect, it is not necessary to hurry and have to wait for the protocol to come councils.

 

Who does profit from the experienced conflicts between Turkey and Azerbaijan? This question of answer is definite. Especially, Armenia and other states which have profits in that region. In fact, National Security Strategy Documentation of Armenia is obvious. Here, the friendship and brotherly relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan by Armenia is seen as a threat. As what we do today breaks this friendship and brotherhood what good will it done if the two countries' relationship break apart. Armenia would take advantage of this condition and it is really clear that Turkey and Azerbaijan would have been still the most deficits. Well now then, why do the mutual mistakes continue to be performed?

 

Do the opposite side just makes you look a right response showing disrespect to the flag of Azerbaijan in Turkey by someone. Sure it could not…

 

The relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan must be entered to the circuit to avoid damage. In this respect, these services should be asked whether will support them. Ninth President Suleyman Demirel and Hikmet Cetin  can be applied for this. TURKSAM are initiatives to end this dangerous process as soon as possible. It should not be forgotten that the sulk of brothers would be a great mid-morning.

A number of Azerbaijani MP’s who visited TURKSAM in October 16, 2009. As the meetings with the Azerbaijan deputies and the requests for interviews from the Azerbaijan press we get indicates that there is a growing disappointment. Turkey must attempt as soon as possible.

In this regard, we should have obligation to behave carefully. Especially it will not bring any benefit to anyone who attempts to make our press remove the old books and accounting.

 

On the other hand, it should be paid attention to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev. It is unable to retrieve results from interviews with Ilham Aliyev and Serj Sarkisyan at the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moldova. Aliyev's comments are thought- provoking after the meeting.

 

Aliyev said that this year we had 6-7 meetings with Sarkisyan Aliyev and we signed the protocol agreed and Sarkisyan exhibited an uncompromising attitude.Aliyev started to mention about the “war” option loudly. It should not forget that an unjust peace initiative pushes war for Azerbaijan.They are revealed to the two points of view related to some of these issues in our agenda before the press comes to mind. The first of this is that the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic of Azerbaijan because of not the fact that Azerbaijan recognizes the blame is on the road. Recently, the Chairman of Turkish National Assembly Foreign Relations Commission, Murat Mercan asked to Azerbaijani deputies. Firstly, it should be noted that Turkey don’t have any policy in terms of the recognition of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Before, Pakistan and Bangladesh had prevented the recognition of the TRNC initiatives. May Ankara tell that we wanted to demand the recognition the TRNC from Baku? But they did not recognize the TRNC. Certainly not…If you are eager to recognize to TRNC, you will just look at the attempts for the recognition of Abkhazia and Ossetia of Russia. It is certain what to be done. Which Turkey did practice one of them? None of them.

Besides, the President of TRNC Mehmet Ali Talat represented that their final aim is to integrate with Greek zone to be member of EU.

 

Neither Turkey's and nor recognition of the TRNC have  any demand, but rather "Do not recognize to us we are continuing the merger of Greek zone” know us fear an attitude in the form known to Azerbaijan, while the TRNC might know why he did not engage in the crime at best ignorance or malevolence of the product.

 

Other issue consists from this. Supposing that, Cyprus became a desire to promote Turkey. In this event, Could Azerbaijan recognize the TRNC? Let’s say immediately. It could not recognize… The cause is clear. Nagorno-Karabakh, which problematic region, separated from its country who wants another place to recognize the independence means decaying own thesis and declared its self independent. In this case, Greece and Cypriot sector recognizes the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh that does not even make exits from this problem. This issue should find the end of ignorance and illiteracy.

 

On the other hand, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev‘s power faces opposition inside in the case and therefore he reviews maneuver as well. These assessments are also thought to be unfounded. Since when we look at the relationship between government and opposition in Azerbaijan, it is seen as the power is an extremely powerful and the opposition is seen as so weak and dispersed. Therefore a power-opposition struggle in Azerbaijan is not invisible.

 

Haydar Aliyev put the way correctly thing is the concept of ”one nation two states” that is distress today. All the steps laid, all the mistakes made sense if they were planned to demolish.
